SITUATION

In addition to its physical stores and active sales team, Corpowear already had an operational e-store for private customers. However, it lacked a self-service environment for automating services for business clients.

Initially, the plan was to build the solution on WordPress. However, with a product range of nearly five figures, three warehouses, and a growing inventory, such a system would not have been sustainable in the long run.As an Erply client, Corpowear had the opportunity to order the development of a business client service environment directly on the business software and also leverage our 15 years of experience in building B2B solutions.

SOLUTION

The solution built by Lumav on Erply includes all the necessary functionalities for serving business clients out of the box, and is fully integrated with the business software (customers, products, price lists, prices, stock levels, documents, etc.). The entire business client service process is directed into the business software, eliminating the need for additional data re-entry or manual transfers.

Several customizations were made, with key highlights below:

  • User-friendly and B2B specific ordering
  • Dashboard with all critical information for the buyer (ongoing shopping cart, completed orders, unpaid invoices, account manager details, etc.)
  • Custom quote solution: In addition to placing an order, clients can request a quote from the shopping cart. The quote is then created and confirmed in the business software, with email notifications sent to the account manager.
  • Personalized catalog and price lists based on active offers. Clients can view confirmed quotes and products within these quotes under “My Products.”
  • Flexible settings for enhanced user experience:
    • Price display settings – with or without VAT, rounding precision adjustments.
    • Warehouse and stock availability display settings.
    • Options to add and modify invoice PDF templates directly in the user interface.
  • Flexible addition of sub-users/employees for companies and additional configurations for better servicing large clients, such as the ability to set separate recipients for goods and invoices.
  • Enhanced order functionalities: Automatic linking with the account manager, the option to specify whether delivery should occur only when all items are in stock, and DPD tracking codes displayed in the client’s order view.

The created solution saves time for both Corpowear employees and clients. In addition to the standard functionalities, several hidden automations were developed, and thanks to the platform’s characteristics, future developments and maintenance can be carried out more cost-effectively. We continue working on increasing Corpowear’s competitive advantage.
